The analysis of multiple pieces of media.

To gain better knowledge and comprehension of media, things like what the creator of the media wanted to convey.

Yes, PS5, Red Dead Redemption 2.

Yes, primarily TikTok, because it's entertaining.

10) Finally, do you think the media is a positive or negative thing for young people? Why?

I think it’s positive because it’s readily available, and it can be educational at times.

Why was the casting of Ncuti Gatwa a significant moment in the history of Doctor Who?

He was the first queer and Black person to lead the long running ‘Doctor Who?’ series

What aspects of this scene do you think an audience might enjoy? List at least three things and explain why the audience would enjoy each aspect. 

The mild humour and sarcasm bring a warm tone to the scene.

The sci-fi genre is interesting itself and it makes the viewer even more interested. 

The pace of the scene not only adds onto the humour, it also adds on to the feeling of the scene.

How is this scene constructed to tell the audience the history of Doctor Who? Think about the script, camerawork and acting.

This scene manages to tell the story + history in a very casual and natural way. If they used something like a narrator to tell the story it would’ve been very abrupt and unnatural.

What can you spot in Doctor Who that you will find in most television dramas? (E.g. characters, dramatic music etc.) These are called key conventions - list as many as you can think of. 

The use of modern slang/mannerisms.

Dramatic/ exaggerated acting.

Effective and cinematic use of the cameras.

What would a Doctor Who fan ('Whovian') like or dislike about this scene?

They may not like the modern tone of the scene
